BAWAS runs a series of 5 meetings in the Spring and 5 meetings in the Autumn each year.
Meetings are held at a venue in the centre of Bradford of Avon and usually on Monday evenings at 7.15 pm (for a 7.30 start) until 9.45 pm.
Each tasting is presented by an experienced speaker from the wine trade.

Sadly, due to increasing costs and taxes, from Summer 2025 we have reluctantly had to increase our prices for tasting meetings. It will now cost £110 for each series of 5 meetings (if you attend all 5 events), so that works out as £22 per evening, amazing value - as you could be tasting 8 different wines per night!
In addition to the course fee, an annual membership fee of £20 is payable.
-
You must be over 18 years old to become a member of BAWAS.
-
We care about the community we live in and are aware of drink/drive limits; so members are expected to walk, arrange shared transport/taxis or take the train, after the sessions. Most of our members live within 5 miles of the town.
-
Details are sent out before each series of meetings and places are booked for the whole course (5 evenings) in advance.
-
We also host other events from time to time.

PLEASE NOTE: Interest in BAWAS is particularly high at the moment, so we have introduced a waiting list for new members. If you’d like to be added to the list, please complete the form below (see contact us) and we’ll be in touch.
